Fast Building Contracting
Fast Building Contracting is a construction company from the Emirate of Sharjah, the UAE, and is one of the leading private construction companies in the Arab Emirates.
The company was founded in 1986 and started with works on engineering service of buildings, technical works and decor; later, it became a full-fledged contractor of large projects. By 2020, Fast Building Contracting as a contractor had completed 98 projects, 39 of which were commissioned by the Government of Sharjah.
In 2006, the company received a certificate of compliance with international quality management standards ISO 9001. ISO 9001 makes the work of Fast Building Contracting more transparent and efficient, as well as guarantees to customers that the organization will meet all requirements set by them.
For SkyWay Group of Companies, Fast Building Contracting Group is the main contractor of the SkyWay Innovation Centre in Sharjah. Omar Ofara, CEO of Fast Building Contracting, personally attended the opening of the construction site of the future SkyWay Centre in November 2018 together with Anatoli Unitsky, inventor of the string technologies.
Fast Building Contracting is currently building the facilities for the second phase of the SkyWay Testing Centre in Sharjah, in particular, two 2.5-kilometre tracks. SkyWay plans to show customers for the first time a cargo Unicont and a new 25-seat passenger Unibus on these tracks, as well as to demonstrate the string transport declared speed of 150 km/h.
The builders in the UAE are installing supports for the 2.5-kilometre heavy track at the SkyWay Innovation Centre in Sharjah.
Dassault System
The French company Dassault System develops software in the field of 3D design, projecting, simulation, data and process management. The company is part of the Dassault Group, i.e. the Group of Companies that also includes developers and designers of electric vehicles, aerospace equipment and orders for the defense industry.
The main product of the company is 3DEXPERIENCE platform, which helps to combine the processes of product development, production and management in the digital environment.
At present, Dassault System has 64 development centres around the world with more than 15,000 employees and 100 million online users. At the end of 2019, the company's revenues were over 4 billion Euros.
SkyWay has been cooperating with Dassault System since the middle of 2017, when SkyWay began to implement at its production the systems for working with virtual models of the rolling stock and track structure. The main goal of the cooperation is transfering the process of development, production and testing of the string transport to the single digital platform.
In 2019, Alexey Voylenko, Deputy General Director of Unitsky String Technologies Co. delivered his report on organizational development at the 3DEXPERIENCE FORUM in Moscow. In his report, he shared his experience in implementing the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in the development and production of the SkyWay transport. The forum was organized by Dassault System.
Since the beginning of 2020, the process of approval and issuance of working documents on the basis of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform is also being optimized at the SkyWay production facilities. Previously, production documents were issued by memos and PDF files via 1C programme; today, there are issued using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform as digital drawings and models.
Cooperation with Dassault System has been helping the SkyWay project to improve the efficiency of work, accelerate data exchange and, as a result, improve the quality of development, design and testing of the string transport for the third year.

Mafelec Team
The French company Mafelec designs and manufactures switching and signalling devices for transport and industrial equipment.
The history of the company is over 70 years. It began in 1947 with a small manufactory «French Alps» in Grenoble, where at that time, only 4 people were working. Currently, Mafelec employs more than 450 people, almost 50% of its production is for export, and the turnover for 2016 was 28.5 million Euros. In the French market, the company is the leader in its industry and today, its distributors work in the U.S., Canada, UK, China, UAE and other countries.
p>For SkyWay, the company Mafelec has become a partner in the supply of lighting and HMI systems (systems of interaction with technology). The company will supply SkyWay with manual door opening buttons for Unibuses, and that will reduce boarding and deboarding time as well as vehicle maintenance costs.
In order to meet the requirements of the European transport regulations, SkyWay Unibuses will also be equipped with dimensional lights from the Mafelec company.
