The first reports about how the Emir of Sharjah, His Highness Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi visited Sharjah Research Park on October 26 and blessed the start of the first phase of SkyWay string transport testing in Sharjah, were broadcast on Sharjah 24 and Sharjah TV.
In the report Sharjah 24, Anatoli Unitsky, the founder of the SkyWay project, informed that SkyWay projects in the UAE are implemented by a specially created company Skyway Greentech. This is linked to the fact that the SkyWay Innovation Centre in Sharjah will develop not only string transport, but also other green technologies, such as those related to solar energy.
