On 6 December, 2018, in Kazan, in the framework of the specialized exhibitions “Mechanical Engineering. Metalworking. Kazan” and “TechnoSvarka” ["TechnoWelding"], there was held an event to promote science and engineering competencies “Engineering Slam”. The project was organized by the teachers and students of the Innovation Management Institute of the Kazan National Research Technological University with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The format of the event implies informal presentations by experts in the field of scientific and technical research and development in the conditions of digitalization of the economy and Industry 4.0. Vadim Savchenko, Chief Designer of the urban transport complex of CJSC "String Technologies" was among the speakers. In his report "SkyWay Technologies: Principles of Transport Systems Construction and Prospects”, he told the audience about the advantages of the string transport systems, compared to the usual modes of transport, as well as about the complex and non-trivial engineering problems that are solved by experts of the SkyWay company-developer.
