On the website of the Russian newspaper "Nezavisimaya Gazeta", there was published an article, dedicated to the perspective directions of transport technologies development. The specialized transport exhibition Innotrans 2018 in Berlin, which gathered in one place thousands of exhibitors from around the world, was the observation platform of the popular trends of the transport market. Among the novelties, that interested the author of the publication, there were trains that use alternative energy sources and the SkyWay string transport.
"However, not only new types of fuel but also a new design, are able to dramatically improve the energy efficiency of the vehicle. In this regard, the novelty of the Belorussian company "String technologies" merits attention. It is, in fact, a new form of transport, which can accelerate up to 500 km/h: a high-speed unibus, one of the new modules of the SkyWay transport. The company-developer SkyWay Technologies Co. (CJSC "String technologies") has created and brings to market the rail transport systems, based on the application of ultralight flyovers of special design. The first models of the SkyWay rolling stock: unibus and unibike, were presented at InnoTrans 2016. Since that time, the developers have leaped forward. This year, the company presents a completely new development – a high speed unibus, which is capable to achieve speed of up to 500 km per hour."
