Members of the Gujarat government visited the uSky testing and certification centre in Sharjah. The guests' visit was organised with the support of the UAE and India Business Council. The delegation was led by Harit Shukla, Secretary of Indian Tourism Administration Service.

uST technology could become quite sought-after in the region and contribute to solving major transport tasks: reducing the number of private vehicles on the roads and, consequently, traffic jams and accidents, as well as reducing air pollution.

«Rapid population growth and traffic congestion are creating a demand for alternative transport technology in India. Organising traffic using modern uST complexes will reduce ground transport traffic and shorten journey times by shifting passenger flows to the second tier. The above-ground tracks will bring the transport communication of the region to a new stage, which will ultimately improve the quality of life of the population» — noted Sergey Tarasov, General Director of uSky Transport.

Representatives of the testing and demonstration centre gave the guests a sightseeing tour, during which they told about the operation of above-ground uST flyover complexes and presented models of passenger unimobiles. The delegation was able to familiarise itself with the tropical version of Unicar, making sure of the safety and comfort of this mode of transport. During the visit, the key benefits of implementing uST solutions in Gujarat's transport infrastructure were outlined.
