The engineering company CJSC "String Technology" has taken part in the 3rd International Transport Congress and Exhibition (SITCE), the opening of which has been held today in Singapore. The event was organized by the Office of Land Transport of Singapore (LTA) and the International Union of Public Transport (UITP). The event is attended by about 100 exhibitors from 25 countries.
The slogan of the congress is "People in the Heart of Digital Railways," which implies shifting the focus of attention of transport and development companies to the needs of ordinary passengers and residents of megacities. According to the organizers, it is the synergy of urban planning and modern approaches in the creation of transport infrastructure that can provide sustainable development to modern cities and improve the quality of people's lives. The other, equally important topics for discussion among SITCE participants, will be the introduction of modern digital technologies in the transport industry.
On the first day of the exhibition, the guest of the SkyWay stand was Mr. Chan Heng Loon Alan, Head of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA). In addition, the development of SkyWay attracted the attention of the local media: the channel that considers the SkyWay engineering solutions as a tool for saving the urban space and reducing the cost of construction and operation of transport infrastructure facilities.
