The Italian and Czech Chamber of Commerce visited the United Arab Emirates with 25 startups from various fields: sustainable transport system, agricultural technologies, digital technologies, artificial intelligence and others.
Startups play a vital role in driving innovation, economy growth and jobs creation. Some of the main reasons why it’s important to support startups are:
- Startups are at the forefront of innovation. By supporting them, companies drive the development of disruptive technologies, products and services that can transform industry and improve people's lives.
- Supporting startups helps to create a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. By developing this ecosystem, companies encourage more people to become entrepreneurs, which in turn leads to development of the economy.
- Startups can disrupt legacy industries that have become stagnant or resistant to change. By challenging established norms, young projects are making a positive difference and creating more consumer-oriented markets.
- Startups can promote cultural change. They can promote sustainability, social responsibility, and advocate for positive social impact.
The event format provided live communication, exchange of experience and networking between startups, business ambassadors, banks and invited representatives of many companies.
uSky Transport, being the largest resident of Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park), held a presentation of uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology. The speakers spoke about the company's successes in the UAE, the support from the Sharjah authorities and plans for the near future.
After the first part of the meeting, a large Italian delegation led by Antonio Rotondo, President of the Italian and Czech Chamber of Commerce, visited the uSky Testing and Certification Center.
The uSky Transport team is always happy to host guests and give tours. At the uSky Transport Office, guests watched uCity linear city model, high-speed uFlash and had a ride on the certified uCar, afterwards they met with the leading engineers to learn a little more about uSky transport solutions.
This was an exceptional gathering bringing together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, scientists and tech enthusiasts from diverse fields to promote collaboration, exchange of experience and learning about new solutions.
