Following the results of the Mobility Leave ME 2023 exhibition, delegates from Malaysia visited the uSky Center. An executive consultant and the financial controller of a large Malaysian group of companies came to the Centre's headquarters to learn about uST solutions.
Of the 32 million residents of Malaysia, almost 25 million live in cities. This explains the huge number of cars and motorbikes in large population areas. uST complexes can contribute to the solution of the main transport tasks of Malaysia: to reduce the number of personal vehicles on the roads, traffic jams and accidents, as well as to reduce the level of air pollution.
A sightseeing tour was held for the guests of the sky Center, during which technical specialists introduced the visitors to the operation of safety systems and presented models of uST passenger transport. During the meeting, the main benefits of implementing uST solutions in Malaysia's transport infrastructure were outlined.
- The aboveground location of uST tracks will reduce traffic congestion, redistribute passenger traffic, and reduce the number of accidents and traffic jams.
- Electric unimobiles have low energy consumption: 2–3 times lower than conventional steel-wheeled or magnetic cushion vehicles. Compared to road transport, energy consumption is 5–7 times lower.
- Cars standing in traffic jams emit a large amount of harmful substances into the air. Wear products from car tyres also have a negative impact on the environment. uST transport help to minimise emissions and the problem of worn tyres is solved by the use of wearproof steel wheels.
