The TV channel «Russia 1» has prepared a story about Unitsky String Technologies Inc. transport, which is considered by the authorities of the Leningrad Oblast as a solution to the problem of traffic jams in the region. UST Inc. technology, may appear in the settlements of Murino and Novoye Devyatkino. Earlier, the uST transport and infrastructure solution was presented to Alexander Drozdenko, the Governor of the Leningrad Oblast.
Journalists paid particular attention to the speed of transportation. Today it takes about an hour by bus from Novoye Devyatkino to the nearest metro station during rush hour. The correspondent drew attention to the fact that due to the above-ground nature of the string-rail flyover, uST transport would cover such a distance in minutes. This will not only shorten the journey but will also help to significantly reduce the burden on the roads.
As noted in the report, the regional government is interested in implementing the technology. So far, two pilot routes are being discussed in the region. Russia's first uST transport line may appear in Murino. In order to estimate the cost of the uST complexes construction, the governor instructed the transport and urban planning committees to calculate the design model together with Unitsky String Technologies Inc.
