The construction of the container terminal and container depot on track 2 continues at the Testing Centre in Sharjah. We are telling you about the progress of works on each of the facilities.
The container terminal
The main stages of the construction have been completed. The specialists have some finishing left to do, but this work will only take place once the track structure has been installed. This order is necessary so as not to damage the plaster and paint due to loads during the tension of the rails.
The construction on the site takes place in accordance with environmental, sanitary and hygienic and fire protection requirements. All materials are certified in the UAE.
The container depot
There are continuing concrete works. For example, preparations are underway to install the roof and anchor unit. In the future, string rails will be attached to this structure.
The container depot is intended for parking and repair of the freight transport. There is no server and dispatch room here. All systems are managed from the service station on the first line.
