Representatives of the string transport project have visited Galadari Engineering Works' production facility. It is one of the largest metal fabrication companies in the UAE.
Since 2019, Galadari Engineering Works has been supplying parts for the track construction at the Testing Centre in Sharjah. The elements of the fourth transport line are now being manufactured at the company.
The project specialists have highly evaluated the quality of metal structures directly in the Galadari Engineering Works' workshop. This approach allows possible defects and inaccuracies to be detected before parts are installed at the site.
The inspection confirmed that the structures are fully compliant with the requirements and tolerances of the drawings. The supplier has therefore been given permission to complete the assembly.
As a reminder: currently, at the Testing Centre in Sharjah, there is underway the construction of the second and fourth track, 2.4-km long each. All intermediate supports for them have been installed, and the stations have been partially built. We wrote more about the construction progress in the UAE in one of the previous pieces of news.
