The representatives of the Belarusian telecommunications company «Beltelecom» have visited the String Transport Testing Centre in Maryina Gorka. The delegation consisted of more than 50 people.
The guests were briefed on the advantages of the technology and were shown the main facilities of the Centre: the string-rail flyover, the rolling stock, the station and the museum of the string transport.
During the tour, delegates got to know, for example, that the string transport runs on electricity, travels above the ground, helps solve traffic jams problem and can reach speeds of up to 150 km/h within the city.
The participants showed great interest in the project. And some of the visitors were not previously aware that such technologies exist in Belarus. That is why organised trips to the Testing Centres are taken place for as many people as possible to be able to appreciate the possibilities of the string transport and see it in action.
